Best Places to Work | Workforce Solutions

Workforce Solutions presents the 2012 Indian River County Best Places to Work program with the support of The Indian River Chamber of Commerce, The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce and The Treasure Coast HR Association.

Best Places to Work is a national program that was developed to provide a confidential forum for local employers to participate in an evaluation of various local workplace best practices and programs.  It provides an opportunity for employers to compare themselves to others of a similar size and serves as a valuable tool for business and human resource planning.  The companies identified as Best Places to Work will be honored at a prestigious awards luncheon. 

Applications are due on August 3, 2012.  This year the luncheon is on October 11, 2012 at Pointe West.

Each year the program is launched at a kickoff event hosted by a local business.  This year, the event was hosted by the Riverside Theatre on May 24, 2012 beginning at 7:45 a.m.  This year's speaker is Mayda Sotomayor-Kirk who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Vero Beach-based Seald Sweet International and will be speaking about Corporate Culture.
